The Human Services Council (HSC) invites you to be a key ingredient in the recipe for a perfect night in Historic South Norwalk (SoNo).

The proceeds generated from the second annual SoNo Stroll will go to support HSC's 66-year legacy as a regional community planning agency -- one that strives to enhance the region's quality of life through a number of critical programs, including the Children's Connection, which has been responding to the community's needs of physically and sexually abused children and their families for more than 36 years and works towards providing permanent solutions to the serious community problem of child abuse.

The Children's Connection also collects more than 3,000 gifts every year for Fairfield County's children in foster care and group homes.

The second annual SoNo Stroll will be held on Wednesday, June 9. A cocktail reception will be held at The Loft from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will include hors d' oeuvres and live music, as well as a live and silent auction and will be followed by an invitation to enjoy dinner, dessert and coffee at one of SoNo's many participating restaurants - Match, Pasta Nostra, Strada 18, Barcelona, Osetra and O'Neill's, just to name a few.

"Not only was last year's SoNo Stroll a huge success, it was also a great deal of fun," said Al Mirin, president of HSC's Board of Directors.

"Thanks to the participation of South Norwalk's restaurants, HSC was able to raise a much needed $60,000, which in turn provided funding for the numerous programs and services we offer to thousands of individuals -- particularly youth -- each year. Ninety cents of every dollar raised by the Human Services Council directly supports our programming. We are forever grateful for the community we strive to protect."

There are many ways that people can support the HSC's 2nd Annual SoNo Stroll, including multiple sponsorship levels and advertising opportunities.
