The 6th annual concert to benefit Malta House in Norwalk is planned Saturday, Oct. 26, in the Norwalk Concert Hall on East Avenue.
Theme of the 8 p.m. concert is "All You Need Is Love ... From Broadway to Rock & Roll." The show will be preceded by a VIP reception from 6 to 7:45 p.m.
Bishop Frank J. Caggiano, recently installed as the new leader of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport, also will present the John Swanhaus Memorial Award to John and Maudie Altieri of Fairfield. John Maudie is the president of the Malta House board of directors.
Malta House is a residence for homeless mothers with infants. It not only provides living accommodations to women and their babies, but offers educational programs to help them live on their own in the community.
St. Joseph Parenting Center in Stamford will also benefit from funds raised by the event.
The benefit concert features Broadway veteran Frank Mastrone of Stamford, joined by area singers and musicians, performing Broadway and rock-and-roll music highlighting the theme of love.
VIP tickets to the event cost $125; general admission is $50, and student/senior admission is $25.
