Monday, Oct. 7, 10:30 a.m.: "Bromances and Frenenemies of the Founding Fathers." Christina Frei returns to take a look at why Jefferson and Adams didn't speak; why Washington's and Hamilton's forged their friendship, and how Madison and Jefferson influenced the Constitution with their friendship.
Tuesday, Oct. 8, 10:30 a.m.: Ron Berler, author of "Raising the Curve: A Year Inside One of America's 45,000 Failing Public Schools" speaks. He will describe his year shadowing students at Norwalk's Brookside Elementary School.
Tuesday, Oct. 8, 11:30 a.m.: Brain Games Lunch and Learn. Danielle Ancona and Donna DeRocco from the Greens at Cannondale provide free lunch program, along with a variety of brain teasers. Reservations required for this free program.
Wednesday, Oct. 9, 10 a.m.: Watercolors workshop with Karen Siegel. $5 per person, includes supplies.
Thursday, Oct. 10. 9-11 a.m.: Free depression screening provided by the Southwest Regional Mental Health Board. No registration required for this anonymous screening.
Thursday, Oct. 10, 10:30 a.m.: Medicare update with Chris Crain. Overview of changes to Medicare in 2014.
Friday, Oct. 11, 10:30 a.m.: Aetna Medicare Advantage Plan presented by Cheryl Tassmer from Aetna.
Monday, Oct. 14:, 10:30 a.m.: Norwalk and Lincoln Connections. Madeleine and Ed Eckert return to tells the tales of Norwalk and its connection to President Lincoln.
