The first IMAX installment of the James Bond franchise -- featuring Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming's iconic Agent 007 -- is playing at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk's six-story screen. Show times are 6:30 and 9:15 p.m. Fridays, 6 and 8:45 p.m. Saturdays and 6 p.m. Sundays. (Bonus shows on Mon., Jan. 21 at 6 and 8:45 p.m. Please note special time of 5 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 26.)
The IMAX presentation of "Skyfall" is specially formatted to feature a larger aspect ratio than the conventional release for the entirety of the film. The aspect ratio, which is optimized to take advantage of the IMAX screen, will allow audiences to see more of the image and result in a full panorama of the action -- further immersing them into the vast scale and scope of the film.
In this 23rd adventure of Ian Fleming's 007 franchise, Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her.
As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
"Skyfall" is rated PG-13. Tickets are $11.50 for adults and $9.50 for 12 & under.
