Back to school is a major milestone for children and parents. It's the beginning of the new school year and an exciting and important time to prepare for your child's success. This year is also significant for the Norwalk Public School District as new superintendent, Dr. Manuel J. Rivera, prepares to welcome students and parents back to school for the first time.
Join Norwalk ACTS member organizations, Dr. Rivera, state Sen. Bob Duff, local children's book author Ryan SanAngelo and many more special guests at Stepping Stones on Thursday, Sept. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. in a salute to students of all ages, parents and educators at this one-of-a-kind, back to school celebration. Meet. Rivera as he conducts a story time with Stepping Stones' visitors. Meet Norwalk ACTS members and learn about the outstanding community resources available for children and parents that can help prepare children for school.
