Vivian Marie (Cella) DiCorato, 84, of Norwalk, beloved wife of the late Dr. Frank DiCorato, died Feb. 14, at Norwalk Hospital. Born in New York City, the daughter of the late Peter and Edith (Lunardini) Cella, she earned her master's degree in education from Columbia University and had worked as a teacher for some years before leaving her career to raise her family. A devout Catholic, she was a longtime member of St. Matthew Church in Norwalk and was very devoted to her family. She especially loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving children, Dr. Michael P. DiCorato and his wife Elise of Wilton, and her daughter Christine J. DiCorato of Norwalk; three cherished grandchildren, Allessandra, Adrian and Nicholas, as well as a sister-in-law Ninetta Piccoli and two nieces in Italy.
